Summer Lovin!

SuMmEr fUn!
BaBY tIMe!
So, Dave's older sister Tina and her husband James were one day sitting in a tree
K-I-S-S-I-N-G, and well years later came the baby in the baby carriage!
Here are photos of all the fun!
Dave holding our soon-to-be niece Rebecca, and James is the blue man on the left.
The mom-to-be: Tina Lichtenberg

The witnesses of the birth, Nurse Amber and Tina's Husband James.

Dr. Huggins doing what she does best, with her crew.

Nicholas James Lichtenberg! Born June 30th at 12:52
Weighing 7lbs 7oz, 21 inches long!

The proud daddy having a father-son moment of gazing into each others' eyes for the first time.
Showing baby to mommy! She has no idea what went on beyond her personal veil-
she can't feel a thing! Lucky lady!
Grandma- happy she doesn't have to wait to see her first grandchild.
Dave waiting patiently with Becca.
Amber had the opportunity to be Tina's postpartum nurse for much of her stay. It was nice to have the opportunity to see the birth of Nick and to have even more bonding and growing time with Tina and James. They have a beautiful boy- healthy as ever, with ten toes and ten fingers and all. Amber's boss was there to care for baby during his first breaths of life and we all welcomed him warmly into the world. It is amazing to be a witness to the miracle of life.

Jason and Deedee Paul- sometimes the Lord blesses you with wonderful people to walk the path of life with... these are some of those blessings.

Their wiggle worm- Addyson. Adorable!

Steven loves her too, and she loves him back!

She can't get enough of that rootbeer!
She really can't figure out how to drink out of a cup either!

Not Rootbeer. Addyson had a blowout that eeked its way onto my shorts. Eww, poo water!

Setting up camp
The view from our campsite

No we did not plan for this picture,
but we sure laughed hard when we saw it on the camera!

Our hike- 4 miles in and 4 miles out.

But the view at the lake was breathtaking!

It thunderstormed and rained buckets on us right as we turned back from the lake- this is the aftermath. A better photo would have been after I got all the dry mud wet again- then you'd really see!

My toes look like an autopsy.

But he tried to be so careful, and besides, it's not about the looks, it's about the memories!

Now he's just goofing off. I love this man!

Landon and our delicious desserts.
We love our barbeques. Every time is another excuse to visit friends and have a little fun. Good food is always a plus, but the company make it all the more enjoyable.

So a lady I work with got these beauties from the hatchery- and came to work with a whole butt load of these fish in sacs. I couldn't pass up the opportunity. It was beautiful. I told Dave I had a great big surprise for him when I got home. He wasn't expecting fish!

And yes, that is all the caviar I could squeeze out of them! Ew! I gagged many times this day. Vicki Hill, Dave's mom had to come from Ririe to help me fillet them. I am such the amateur!
